The Vocal Music Program in the Southern Regional School District has a long history of tradition and success. Its choirs have enjoyed success at numerous competitions and festivals throughout the state and Mid-Atlantic region. Trophies and plaques from these successes are displayed throughout the classrooms at both the Middle School and High School. The choirs at Southern Regional also perform at a variety of functions around the community, entertaining audiences with their technique, style, and character. Many of its students have moved on to pursue careers in music at various postsecondary institutions, including the University of the Arts, Montclair State University, and the Westminster Choir College at Rider University.

 

As always, the choirs thank the students, parents, staff, and administration for their continued support. You are vital in the process towards successful music-making. At Southern Regional, we believe that music can have a profound impact on a student's life, and that every student should have the opportunity to participate.
